Double Points

"Earn double points for your class during the Spirit Week dress-up days by bringing in a food item for the Area Food Pantry. You may bring in more than one item, but only one extra point per day per person is allowed."

Senior Float Building (Run 9-29 through 9-30)

The next senior float building will be Sunday from 1-5pm at Mr. Stoneback's house. Please see Mr. Stoneback today if you need directions. Seniors are encouraged to come whether they can stay the whole time or just work for a little.

Monday is U of M/MSU Day (Run 9-28 through 9-30)

Monday marks the beginning of Homecoming 2011. On Monday, Students who wear either U of M or MSU colors as a major component of their outfit will earn valuable spirit points for their class.

Awards range from $2500 to $20,000. Must be a graduating senior, intend to pursue a bachelor's degree, show financial need ( preferably $50,000 or lower adjusted gross income) be involved in co-curricular and community service, have a minimum 2.0 cumulative gpa and be a U.S. citizen. Sophomore Banner Making

Attention all sophomores, the sophomore class will be making its spirit banner for the Homecoming assembly on Monday, Oct. 3rd from 3:00 to 6:00 in room 124. The more sophomores who come and help the more spirit points are given! So stop by room 124 and help us win the spirit competition!

COLLEGE VISIT

A representative form Western Michigan University will be here on Wednesday, Oct. 12th @ 8:00. They will be offering "Gold Rush" this year. This is where students have the opportunity to receive an admissions decision within 48 hours. If interested, sign-up at the Counseling Office.
Sophomore PowderPuff practice will be held Thursday after school until 5:00. Meet at 3:15 outside the High School Gym. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Hunt.

JV Girls Powder Puff

We are starting to collect photos and videos for the senior send-off video and the letter explains what we're looking for. Start bringing in photos now so you're not left out of the video. Wendy's is looking for the next class of remarkable students who excel in academics, athletics, and community involvement. Homecoming Guest Passes (Run 9-6 through 10-5)

Any student wishing to bring a guest to the Homecoming Dance must pick-up and complete a guest pass from Mrs. Lavrack in the high school office. Completed guest passes must be returned by Wednesday, October 5 at 3:10pm. Late guest passes will not be accepted. Middle school students and individuals over the age of 20 will not be allowed to attend the dance.
