HS Cross Country

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team as they raced their way to the finish capturing the Panther invitational championship for the second straight year. All five girls medaled for the Spartans and each played a pivotal role in edging Standish and Tawas for the crown. Kinsie Jacques was the overall winner followed by teammate Ariel Holstine in second place overall. Trista Smerdon was fifth overall followed by medalists Alex Kanthe and Taylor Bauer who played key roles for the Spartans each earning top 20 finishes. Boys team- Taylor Morand ran a tough race finishing in second place overall. Well Done/Congratulations Any student not participating in a fall sport (or wishing to dual sport). Cross Country will take new runners this week only. Please see Coach Penberthy if you feel you want this opportunity. Your chance to become a member of a successful team and get in shape for life or your next winter sport.

Junior Class Shirts

The Junior Class is selling Tee Shirts to represent the Class of 2025! Tee Shirts are $15 per shirt! You can see Mr. Thomas in Room 109.

2023 Year Books

2023 High school yearbooks are in! They can be picked up from Mrs. Wehner in room 120 (multimedia room by the counseling office) before school only starting tomorrow. If you are getting the book for a graduate, please have a note or have them email me giving permission to give you the book.

Fall Athletic Sticker

Fall Athlete Stickers are available for purchase in the Athletic Office during your lunch. Cost is $5 and athletes must have pass to be admitted to fall home sporting events. If you do not show your pass, you must pay to enter.

HS Cross Country

Congratulations to the Cross country team for making it home last night. We Hauled so much hardware we blew 2 tires off the school van. For the girls team Kinsie Jacquies led the charge finishing in first place overall. Ariel Holstine ran a CR performance and finished in second place overall. Trista Smerdon and Alex Kanthe finished 6th and 9th respectively. Tayler Bauer ran a PR and finished in 18th overall. Overall combined scores the girls team finished in second place. Great Job ladies! For the boys team, Tayler Morand also took home a medal with a 7th place finish overall. If anyone is wishing to join a successful team, Cross Country is still accepting athletes,however this opportunity will close next week. See Couach Penberthy or Morand for details.
