JV Boys Basketball team

The JV boys basketball team beat Beaverton 56-23. Leading score was Danny DuBay with 28. The varsity boys basketball team beat Beaverton 47-35. Leading scores were Cole Brady and Garrett Zehr with 15 each

Bay-Arenac Career Center

Bay-Arenac Career Center is hosting an Apprenticeship Information Night on Thursday, February 15 from 4:00-6:00 with a discussion panel at 5:00. Students and parents interested in learning more about the many apprenticeship opportunities within our regions should attend

Pinconning United Steelworkers

Pinconning United Steelworkers (Run 2/5 through 2/9) (2) $200 awards. Must be a senior who has attended Pinconning High School grades 9-12, have a 2.5 GPA or higher, be involved in at least 1 extra-curricular activity, be attending a college/university or entering an apprenticeship in the fall of 2024, and must be related to a current or retired United Steelworker, Local 7652. Student Council Meeting

Mandatory student council meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:10am in Mr. Stoneback's classroom.

Arenac County 4-H Foundation Scholarship

Arenac County 4-H Foundation Scholarship Must be a graduating senior or college sophomore, have completed at least 3 years of Arenac County 4-H projects and plan to continue education after high school. Applications are available online and in the Counseling Office, the deadline is March 31, 2024.

Student Council Run

Student Council Run The Middle School Student Council will be selling Valentine’s Day Candy Grams starting now through Feb 12th. Bring $1.00 to school, fill out a special message to a friend & we will deliver it with a heart shaped sucker to them on Valentine’s Day. Get yours while supplies last. Look for the sale table before school every day or see Mrs. Maxwell or Mrs. Milkowski to purchase. Buy and send as many as you’d like!

Bowling Teams

Boys' bowling team On Monday, the boys' bowling team lost to Gladwin 30-0. High games were bowled by Griffin Morin (181), Logan Milliman (171), Dylan Krevinghaus (166) and Jacob Stoneback (166). On Wednesday, the boys' bowling team defeated Shepherd 20-10. High games were thrown by Logan Milliman (195), Zack Bishop (158), and Griffin Morin (139). Girls bowling team On Wednesday, the girls' bowling team fell to Shepherd 23-7. High games were bowled by Layla St. Peter (151 and 141) and Lexi Drouse (135). The bowling teams will compete in the singles tournament in Standish on Saturday. Boys will compete at 9:00am and the girls will compete at 1:00pm.
